Wild Gardens

The biodiversity crisis is the biggest crisis we are facing in not only Denmark but the world. Species are disappearing at an unprecedented rate. The wild Danish nature is under pressure, and only about one to two percent of Danish land is genuinely wild nature. Biodiversity is not sufficiently present in nature, nor is it adequately understood by the Danish people. A survey from 2019 showed that 70 percent of Danes did not know what the word meant...

Our company’s founder, Annette, has a love and interest in wild nature which is evident in the large wild garden that surrounds our office located in Hinnerup, Denmark. This inspired us to start an internal 'green project' as part of our 'Little Green Choices' initiative: We encouraged our colleagues to submit photos of their own wild gardens to focus on biodiversity throughout August ’24.
